REIKI (pronounced RAY-key)
Rei means universal (it is everywhere). However, there is an underlying meaning which can be interpreted as higher wisdom or spiritual consciousness.
Ki refers to life force energy.
Hence, Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy, a healing energy that comes from the universe. A Reiki practitioner can offer this healing energy to those faced with specific ailments or to those who simply wish a deepening sense of wellness of body, mind and spirit. Reiki can only work toward the good of any situation and is a non-invasive, gentle healing approach. Children (at any age, even in utero) and adults alike can benefit from this deeply beautiful healing and relaxing technique.
People can receive treatments while sitting on a chair or lying on a Reiki (massage) table, fully clothed. The energy may be given to the aura without physical touch or hands may be placed lightly on the person, animal, plant, food or anything that could benefit from this balancing energy. Dis-ease happens when the body becomes imbalanced. At first this may not be very noticeable but in time, it can lead to chronic or life threatening conditions.
Reiki heals on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels and while it can be used as a stand alone method of healing, it is an excellent complimentary healing system to traditional or other alternative methods of health care.
TREATMENTS:
We offer full body Usui, Karuna and Drum Healing Reiki treatments as well as Chakra Balancing, Healing Attunements and Crystal healing. Treatments are never rushed, allowing the adult to further process the exprience and ask questions if any should arise. Children are encouraged to be comfortable and relaxed during their shorter but equally effective treatment sessions.
Fees are reasonable but vary according to the type of treatment and whether maintenance or ongoing sessions for chronic issues are required. Please call to discuss your needs and the best treatment for your situation.
HEALING ATTUNEMENTS:
First Degree Reiki: - This is a beautiful way to offer healing to oneself, family, friends, plants or animals.
Second Degree Reiki: - Learn Reiki Symbols and distance healing techniques while deepening the Reiki experience.
Third Degree Reiki: - Take your Reiki commitment to a deeper level for yourself and others. Learn healing attunements.
Please call to express your interest in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Karuna Reiki classes. Reiki trainings are ongoing and are offered upon request as interest arises throughout the year.

USUI REIKI CLASSES:

This is an 8 hour class done over 2 days. This allows time for questions and comments to arise and be addressed as well as allowing the beautiful Reiki experience to unfold and be processed within. 1 long day is an option for anyone unable to commit to two afternoons or evenings. Weekend classes may also be considered.
Reiki 2: please contact if interested
This fulfilling and exciting degree may take closer to 10 hours depending on the number in the class also usually done over 2 days. It is indeed an attunement process in which you will be glad to participate and ultimately have.
Reiki 3: please contact if interested
This attunement will deepen the spiritual healing energy within as well as prepare the participant for practising Reiki on a higher level. It is necessary to have been attuned to and practising Reiki 2nd Degree for several months, at least, before embarking on 3rd Degree Reiki. Please be prepared to commit the time and energy into furthering your knowledge and connection to this deeply beautiful degree.
Reiki 1 for CHILDREN is usually offered on one day during March Break or upon request. This is a fun interactive workshop with crafts, activities, games and a colourful booklet that allows children to easily access the information regarding the history of Reiki and how to use it respectfully. For children who are interested and understand that Reiki can only be used for the highest good, that it is a gift from the universe and that once attuned, the energy flows through us but is not of us. Children come into this lifetime with an innate understanding of energy healing. If they still hold on to those beliefs and understanding, they are, in particular, good candidates for this workshop. However, other children may be reminded of this gift once they are attuned. Please call to discuss any questions you may have.
