SUMMER CAMP 2020

*Due to the Coronavirus no summer camp schedule has been confirmed. We are not taking any enrolments at this time..
The following information is still in effect if a yoga camp schedule becomes available.
We now offer fewer numbers of sessions and as always there are a limited number of campers in each session. This may range from 5-10 children depending on the number of locations available. In 2019 we had two locations so 10 children per session were admitted to the camp. It is possible, for those seriously interested in the camp, to submit dates that would work well for them. There is no guarantee that those dates will be scheduled in but we do often look at weeks of interest with the intent to include them if possible.
It is likely that we will offer 6 sessions (9-12; 1-4 or 9-4) over 3 weeks. Needless to say these sessions fill very quickly.

Please read the cover page for Yoga Camp for general details.
Yoga camps are  either 1/2 or full days for each of the 5 days of the week (Monday to Friday). Each session is packed full of fun with many benefits for everyone, especially children with concerns from anxiety to focusing to health concerns. Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques are central to each day.
New for this summer: We are considering offering specific support for children who are experiencing temporary separation from parents due to divorce, separation, conflict or other challenging life situations. (Please note that we are always sensitive to these issues in every session. This would include more specific resilience, problem solving and coping skills.)
We are also considering bringing back our ever popular Family Crafting Calm. This is a 3 hour programme during 1 week day for a parent and child(ren) in which we explore yoga, mindfulness, activities and crafts. It is a great way for children and parents to bond while allowing the parent to observe and participate in ideas easily implemented at home to assist their child(ren) in everyday life or for those who feel a more specific need to support their children.

As always, we look forward to welcoming back children who have come once or many times before and new friends we have yet to meet. Watch for the schedule to appear on the website or contact us anytime at [email protected].
